Pictures of Downtown Waco, Texas

I wanted to post this last weekend, but my uncle passed away and we have been planning his funeral and trying to be there for my aunt all week. It's been a really emotional and tough year for my family because my grandparents and uncle have all passed away in less than a year. I know I will see them all again and that makes me feel a little bit better.

I'm sorry... I didn't mean for this post to be negative, but it's real life.... right?

My hubby wanted to make a trip to Target and he took us the scenic route so I snapped a few pictures for you.

But, I wanted to grab a small bite to eat before we left and chowed on a banana with a little help from my buddy...

The first couple of pictures were on the way to the Texas Food Truck Showdown Waco was having...

And the food truck thingy... not great pictures, but I was able to at least get a shot of the Alico building...

Here is the courthouse where the hubby and I were married 19 years ago...

A few random pictures of buildings and churches...and a horse statue...

Lastly, the castle. Which looks to be getting a facelift...

By the time we got home and began our couch potatoing, Morris was completely wore out from a long day of eating, drinking, rolling on the floor....

and sleeping. So, he slept a bit more... in a box of course...

Hope you have a blessed day!
