Oh my goodness! What a month May was!

I often wonder if it's just us. Are we the only family that consistently has several things going on? Good and bad. It can't be just us. Right?

We've had a ton going on and May felt like the longest month ever.

My son started the process of finding a new job. I'm hoping and praying this will be a great job for him! This will be a full time job working with a great company and I hope he likes it.

My daughter had her Senior Dinner, her Senior Walk, an interview for a Scholarship, an award ceremony and two graduations. All while finishing up her dual credit classes, high school classes and working.

The high school she went to had all the Seniors walk the aisles in their cap and gown at the elementary, junior high and high school. I think it's amazing because it's a way for the graduating Seniors to be an inspiration to the younger kids.

She received three awards. One for the scholarship, another for A Honor Roll and one that shocked me... but, in a 'Wow! That's amazing!' way from Charles "Doc" Anderson who is a member of the Texas House of Representatives.

I'm super proud of my daughter! She worked so hard to graduate 3rd in her class, earn her Associates Degree from a local college and earn her high school diploma all at the same time! It was a lot of hard work and I'm so proud of her accomplishments!

I have to say, I broke down a couple of times from stressing myself out and my wonderful husband was there to pick me up and take me to a few garage sales and a special trip to Hobby Lobby. Most of the time, we don't find much at garage sales. This time... we found quite a bit. A cute picture frame, a super cute Ikea lantern, a brand new Yankee Candle (which I've already tested), a few movies, games and a couple of other things.

And Morris is helping me take a picture of my Hobby Lobby finds.

We finished up the month of May by fixing our broken dryer.

The heating element went out and let me tell you.... I really took our dryer for granted. I sure missed it while it was down!

Next up is getting everything completed for her to start college this fall.

Whew! I need to have some stitching time!
