This month has been full of ups and downs, crazy storms and a bit of stitching. We have had some crazy Texas weather that we normally don't have in June. Well, at least not that I can remember. It's normal for Spring storms around here, but we've had a bit of hail, the threat of tornadoes and super high winds. Here's a picture of one that was arriving...
But, there was a bit of happiness when my daughter found this wreath at Wally World for our home! I love, love, love the colors!
While editing the pictures for this post, I've realized that I'm very drawn to pastel/happy colors. More than I previously thought.
I completed two Cross Stitch projects and have a new start...
Up first is the dessert piece that I shared on my Cross Stitch Facebook page and Instagram with my helper Mr. Morris.
I purchased the pattern on Etsy and I really enjoyed stitching this one. There is something about food cross stitch pieces that I think are just too cute.
This first set of pictures is before backstitching.
And here it is all stitched up!
After stitching the dessert piece, I wanted to stitch something smaller and quick and chose to go with the birdcage kit that I found at Hobby Lobby. But, this one... didn't go as quick as I thought. The metallic floss is always hard for me to stitch with. But, I think it turned out pretty cute. It's called Gilded Birdcage by Artiste and I found this kit on eBay if you are interested in purchasing it.
Last but not least... I started a new project by Artiste that is full of flowers and color! I'm loving it so far!
Happy Stitching!
