Daily Life and Stitching Update

I miss the days when my kids were younger. When summers were filled with sleeping in late, a bit of swimming and just hanging out. Nowadays, our summers are filled with work, interviews, preparing for college and other life happenings.

Last week, there was a doctor visit and an interview for my daughter. This week, she had another interview and we had a meeting with a college advisor to register for her classes. And this coming Monday, we are heading back up to the campus to have a meeting with the financial aid department.

My schedule has been all over the place and I'm in major need of time management. I'm definitely not getting everything I want/need to get done, but...

I have been trying to fit in some stitching time and when I do, I don't want to put it down. I'm the type of person who has to finish a project... unless... it's actually framing a piece or making my stitched pieces into a completed project. That takes me forever to do.

I briefly mentioned the piece I'm working on in a previous post, but I thought I would share my progress. (I'm sorry for the wrinkles) This piece is called Blooming Teapot by Artiste.

Blooming Teapot Cross Stitch

Once I have this completed, I will share my thoughts on stitching this piece as well as a few close up pictures.

I hope you have a great day!
